Im frustrated moments I’ve thought the same thing, to hell with it all. They deserve it. But after all, how can we come there and dictate how they should do things?

One of my favorite columnists in South Africa was fired for his controversial writings. He wrote in an article that without the colonial influence, they would still live in their straw huts etc. He was labelled a racist. Some times I wonder how long it will take before they are back in the straw huts with the leaders they choose.

I think we can learn from the people of democratic Africa. Its time that we took more interest in who our leaders are; instead of just thinking that nothing will ever change.

Never mind Zimbabwe, I don’t think South Africa should be a yard stick either.

I don’t have proper overview of the Indian election, but at least it seems that there are more than one or two parties collecting votes. It’s a good thing that the parties needs to cooperate... In SA, the ANC is way to powerful... very much like in Zimbabwe!

No ID... that’s shocking! Don’t get too smart though. Zimbabwe also required ID’s from voters... Mugabe collected passports like a madman from everybody at the borders... even for people passed away!

In the eyes of the beholder I guess. Jacob Zuma is a rubbish candidate in my eyes, but a hero amongst many in SA. It’s a culturally divided society. The Democratic Alliance, which stands for more western values, has no chance as their voters are mainly the minority group. The country is returning to Africa.

I wish only that South Africans also cared about finding out who their candidates were. A proper investigation of the 700 charges should have been conducted at least, before putting the man in the drivers seat!

Well... I guess I’m a bit of a sucker, coz I believe there are some honest ones out there some place who truly wants the best for the people. It’s just that honesty can never compete with lies in an election campaign and people are generally not able to see through that!

Politicians like sleazy sales people use the power of psychology to control and fool the mostly dizzy of the world

You can direct people by the way you look and the phrases that cons use so well

People want to be lead and there are many who will lead them into misery

Laws of nature that want the strongest gens will never allow honesty at the top
